• I read this book the weekend of the 2019 Masters and it’s as fine a golf novel as can be found, excellently blending reality and imagination. Yes, it’s a ‘morality play,’ but true to golf at The Masters. I’d read some critiques that pondered why unnecessary political commentary was included, but that appeared nitpicking to me. Read it. Then go hit some balls and read some more. It’s a great perspective of PGA pros and a useful reminder that good sportsmanship and ethics is what the game of golf is all about!
• What a wonderful novel. It may have been a YA novel but for someone that is decades past being in the YA group I loved this book. Being a golf fan didn't hurt. But, it was such a fun read with a great ending that kept me guessing. I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys a great novel. Being a sports fan, let alone a golf fan, is secondary to just enjoying a fun story.
• Strong story line. For those who are familiar with kids who play golf, and the machinations of their parents, this is a very good story.
• What a wonderful book. Exciting from start to finish. Anyone who has children playing golf can relate to this book. Read cover to cover in 2 days as I could not put down
• Surprise, surprise. The villain (along with 80% of the PGA Tour) is a Donald Trump supporter. Love Feinstein's non-fiction work. Perhaps he should stick to that. The book is almost as predictable as it is unrealistic. As an avid golfer and golf fan, I did not enjoy this book.
• Disliked The political references were completely unnecessary. It will also "date" the book for future readers, which seems quite unwise on the part of the author.
  
  Liked Golf-specific knowledge was exhibited. Main character was likeable.
• I really liked this book. And I’m 70 years old. It is a good story well told.
• Liberal writers just can’t help themselves when it comes to the President. Stopped reading after 4 chapters. If your into Liberal bashing have a good read. If not, don’t buy the book.

• I've been using a Rand McNally road atlas for many years. I thought I would try this EasyFinder version since my eyesight isn't what it used to be. I was very disappointed in it. The maps are indeed much easier to read. However, the amount of detail that has been lost is just unacceptable to me. My own town has disappeared from maps! I like being able to see small towns and roads other than just the major ones. This atlas reminds me of the maps you get online when searching for a location. You have to get closer and closer to get any real detail. However, that isn't possible with a printed map. If you only want the major roads and larger cities, and you intend to get individual maps for each state you visit, then I guess this would be fine for you. Personally, I would prefer having to use my little magnifying glass if necessary, in order to have the detail available. I intend to purchase the larger size atlas that isn't a large-print version, just as I have in the past. I think I'll be much happier with that.
• I pre ordered the 2019 McNally Road Atlas.
  It arrived the day after release.
  We usually keep a Atlas in my Truck and car but mainly use GPS to map the Drive or find a location.
  We rarely use them, just have them for a backup.
  This is the first spiral bound Atlas I have ever purchased.
  States are broken in half and leaves a huge gap between the separation.
  I don't care for it at all and would not buy another one.
• Like the size for car travel. It offers states alphabetically unless they are small, then you must use the table of contents to find them. Includes provinces and major cities. Several states require 2 spreads or so, which is nice, as they tried to maintain the same scale for all maps. Details include national parks, sites, monuments, state parks, camping, etc. We used Google maps to supplement the atlas. The centerlines are sometimes carelessly placed, so some details are lost. We used it on a 3 week trip through 26 states and a province with good success. One nice feature if you are looking for an adjoining map, a yellow box identifies which page to turn to in each direction. The spiral binding is getting a bit worn, but we used it a great deal.
  Would have liked more small towns indicated.
• This road atlas was exactly what I expected. It’s small enough to fit in the backpack I keep in my trunk, along with my other emergency supplies, and has enough detail for my needs. It’s about the size of a piece of printer paper and maybe a half an inch thick.
  
  I have attached three photos to show you how this atlas is formatted. In the first photo you can see the list of cities and states that are shown in this atlas. The second photo shows one of the four pages of California. The third photo shows the City of San Diego.
  
  The state maps are going to show a general overview of the highways that connect throughout them. The major city maps then show a closer look at the main roads.
  
  I’ve been reading the other reviews and I have to say... It’s unreasonable to think that a road atlas of the entire United States (this size) would show incredible detail. Be realistic with your expectations. If you need an atlas with a lot of detail I would recommend getting the larger version of the Rand McNally road atlas (which I also own). The larger road atlas I keep in the car but does not fit in my backpack. I got this smaller atlas in case I need a map when I am on foot.
• Major roads only. Few if any secondary roads. Same goes for city maps. Detroit -yes, Battle Creek - no. I bought two, one for myself and one for a friend. I thought the "size" and spiral binding would make it the perfect map for a car, you know, easy to access and read. It is, if you only want to travel the main roads and super highways. DEFINITELY NOT for anyone who wants to meander down the back roads and truly see America.
• A little too small print for me and the spiral was directly in the middle of the cities I drive through most often. I ordered the large scale version instead.
• Bought this to replace a 2010 loarge-sized Rand McNally Atlas. We just completed 3200 miles across country in a rented truck and had to rely on call-phone navigation programs. The Interstate segments that connect in cities are unlabeled. Distance indications are limited. Some Interstate exits are labeled, many are not. The spiral binding is nice but the pages were cut so that it is hard to follow across the edges. Nice looking, good to see relations and the paths of major highways but you will need more to actually drive the routes.
• Love the large format but pages are mixed up. Some are doubled, others are missing. Everything before of 80 and after 97 is correct but in between, some states are left out (KANSAS, KENTUCKY, LOUISIANA, MAINE , Western MARYLAND)

• Going to the supermarket to shop for food has always been the easiest and most convenient option for me. Don't think I've ever seriously considered doing my own pickling or preserving or anything else. I was completely intimidated. Reading through the cookbook, yes - some things do take time... but it's really not hard or scary... I just needed to be willing. I enjoyed the chapter about different preserving techniques, and the "Pantry" chapter has lovely botanical illustrations if you want to go foraging. Of course, the recipes are amazing (Most of the recipes are accompanied by photographs.) - "Dandelion Honey" will be the first thing I try. I'm also excited about making my own yogurt and trying my hand at pickling. Baby steps right? Overall, this is a beautiful cookbook and I love it... I loved it so much I bought another copy as a gift for a friend.
• I am an avid cook and cookbook collector. This cookbook is exquisite, informative and differentiated. The recipes are easy to follow and truly unique. The illustrations are magnificent. I will treasure this cookbook and make certain it is always within easy reach.
• Great book for getting your feet wet and learning the ins and outs of curing and smoking meats and fish.
• If you are interested in smoking,or preserving of any kind This is a good balance between a text book and book.
• Outstanding book regarding the history and heritage of how we eat.
• I have been trying to do a little more pickling and gardening in and around my house in the City but have been making excuses to why it it not feasible. This book has given me more drive to focus more on my impact as well as give me the tools i need to get more invested in making things myself.

• Really enjoyed reading the trilogy. Part of my ancestry is French Huguenot. The family name was Witte and they went to the Netherlands. Eventually some of the family migrated to the U. S. My grandfather changed his name to White . I am interested in learning more about my. background. I found the story to be very compelling and a great read.
• This would have been very good except for the bit of bad language and the sexual references
• I received an e=mail offer of a free copy of the first in the series. I tried but failed to get a download. So I paid $.99
  and bought it from . Before I finished reading it, I bought the set. They are well worth reading.
• This ia a story of how France tried and mostly succeeded in converting the protestant Huguenots to Catholicism. This author did a magnificent job of marrying historic fact with fiction, thus coming up with another enthralling read. I cannot adequately describe how intensely I felt as I read through the perils of Jeanne Delpech and the separate adventures of her husband, Jacob. It became important to me that these two reunite which shows how this author weaves such an intricate story. Unlike the way some historic fiction can be, this is not a long dull read filled with tedious descriptions of the landscapes. I had previously read his Strange Metamorphosis and after being so enchanted with that story, I had to read something e!se by Paul Monk. Every part of it was a joy to read as his writing style flows with descriptive character and there are no obnoxious typographical errors to irritate or ignore. His language is pure so it is acceptable for any age. I would gladly read everything this author writes! It is just that good.
• I have really enjoyed reading The Huguenot Connection Trilogy! Though not usually the genre that I choose to read, I am so glad I gave the first one more than just a glance. This series is a very interesting account of one family's experience of religious persecution. I found myself admiring their steadfast faith and cheering for their resolve. Although a fictional account, these novels nonetheless do justice to a very unsettling time in Christian history – and what trying times early Christians faced! It is very apparent that this series was well-researched as the details really make the story come alive. Mr. Monk writes with much description so that it is easy to envision the struggles as well as the joys of this family. He effectively captures and keeps the reader's attention during the books. Very well-written with excellent character and plot development. If you enjoy historical fiction, especially early Christian history, I would highly recommend you take the time to read this series.
• This is an immaculately researched and extremely well written historical trilogy that tells the story of the trials and tribulations of one heugenot family torn apart by religious persecution from within the ‘christian’ church. I was captivated by the history. Religious persecution has never been off the political agenda! The characters are engaging, the story story twists and turns, my sense of injustice often tweaked, emotions rise and fall ... the ending is satisfying. Well worth the journey.
• I enjoy history and loved how these characters were weaved into the tale the author wrote. I learned much about the times that I didn't know prior to this series. It was well written with intriguing characters. I am looking forward to the spin-off series that the author has mentioned. I would recommend this series. I received a copy of this series from the author. I also purchased one of the books separately. This is my honest and voluntary review. Happy reading!
• This was a great read! I finished it in two days and found myself putting stuff off to get back to it. I'm quite a history nut and though this time period is my favorite, I found I didn't know very much at all about this particular topic, so I found the book informative. This was right up my alley and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend it to anyone who's a fan of historical fiction of this time period.
